I'm not sure if I was clear enough last time I posted here but our blog is now located on our website. Please go to the UK website's super cool bloggy blog or on the USA website blog. I won't be posting here anymore.

The new SSOV website is almost finished, I'm polishing the last details and entering some of the last product codes. It's looking great, it has some cool features on the frontend and backend. The Europe website and U.S. website will look quasi similar, except for a couple of details and slightly different stock. We are launching the U.S. website in January 2009 and maybe the European one very soon, just to test the new structure.

There's a couple of new t-shirts coming out soon. Here's one them:

WestMidlands Vegan Fayre 1st Nov 08

We were at the West Midlands Vegan Fayre in Wolverhampton yesterday. We had a stall there. We met a lot of nice people. But my favorite part of running a stall at a vegan festival is not answering questions about the SSOV. "What is the Secret Society of Vegans?" is a classic one. Some guy asked me what was the symbology behind the design used on one of the trucker hat. I just blurted out: "I don't know mate, 'looks good mate..."

The nice people at Yaoh gave us a copy of the magazine they have just launched. It's called Off The Hoof, it costs £3.95 including shipping (UK). I'm always really rude with the Yaoh guys and they never told me to piss off. I don't know what's wrong with them, haha. The SSOV is probably going to get involved with Off The Hoof in the next issue. Talking about magazine: we have re-designed the youth/student page in the Vegan magazine (The Vegan Society). Alex C. from Nottingham Student Veg Soc is now in charge of writing the youth page and got us to design it. It should be out soon.

Do not tell anybody but the SSOV is going to get a website upgrade soon. Say goodbye to the old website and say hello to the super slick new one... It will have a customer's wish list, customers reviews, credit card payment facilities, etc... We are also going to add more products to the catalog. Our North American customers and friends will also be happy to hear that we will improve the U.S. webstore.
