As previously announced here, we were invited to the grand opening of the
Bourgeois Boheme shop last Saturday. The showroom / shop / headquarters of the very posh / stylish vegan shoe company is located in south west London (Richmond area). I took a couple of pictures and swallowed as many cupcakes (made by
thevegancakegirl.co.uk) and japanese raw snacks (wasabi, sushi) as I could. There was a big queue of people trying out / buying shoes. Laura tried a couple of boots but at the end, decided to get some comfy
MacBeths (look under the inner sole, you'll find some lyrics from the DC band BANE!?).
Some of our friends were there too. Montse from Barcelona, Level 6 SSOV agent, has just relocated to London. Also Alex Bourke was there to launch the new edition of the
London Veggie Guide 2008.
